UFOs or if you prefer UAPs

Anomalous phenomena indeed!

Apparently UFOs are no more. Don't think for an instant that they don't exist - it's just that some bureaucrat decided to change their name - twice! They went from Unidentified Aerial Phenomena to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. Too bad. UFO had a nice ring to it. I reserve the right to continue to think of the new term "UAP" as "UFO": Unbelievably F--king Objectionable! Regardless I still believe they exist whatever you call them.

My reasoning is simple. With a number of heavenly bodies so large we can't even absorb its immensity, there has to be a planet with a type of life which has itself evolved to the point of entering space for greater distances than we have. It's in the numbers. I might be an alien, or you, or powerful religious leaders. We all know politicians come from a different place but that's another story.

There is some rationale to the new name. Alien phenomena might not necessarily be something that flies. They could be a form of energy. "Beam me up Scottie" might be a reality. Perhaps something has come up from the ocean depths or the centre of Mother Earth.

If these flashes or spots of light reported by military fighters are from afar, it represents a problem - an anomaly in fact. We have a big challenge in our own space program breaking free from Earth's gravitational field. To do so requires huge rockets with enormous amounts of fuel. How can these tiny objects travel similar or greater distances with tiny forms of life inside? A totally different form of energy and possibly dematerializing "life" or the craft themselves and then rematerializing them have to be considered.

The fact that many of these things are supposed to be so small and intent on racing away from our jet craft lends more credence to them being created right here on Earth. Perhaps they are from an enemy or even our own test objects which once again our governments and military have decided to suppress.

Another issue is why or whether a "Roswell" extraterrestrial creature really exists. If so why would our leaders keep it from us? It would be a propaganda bonanza. They could argue that these visitors chose America over other places or that only America had the capability to track and capture them. That would be typical American thinking. I think it is just as likely that they have indeed visited other nations but those nations managed to keep a lid on it. They might even have benefitted more than America from the relationship.

Look at the discovery of dinosaurs or ancient man. Did we have a panic attack over that? Perhaps there is or could be a Jurassic Park somewhere. Are you worried?

All of this sure beats watching foolish stuff on social media , "reality" shows, spending your time idolizing the Kardashians or Taylor Swift! Strange things happen when something travels at the speed of light or (greater).

Perhaps we are starting to experience them in small doses. It is beyond me. It is beyond all of us! One of these days before my current life is over I intend to write about my own Close Encounter and joy ride with aliens. I lived to tell about it but I still can't get rid of my red fingertip!

Balloons or UFO's?

A Balloon a Day Keeps the Air Force at Play

A monster balloon for "weather",

Mysteriously slipped from its tether.

Completely unfurled, it travelled the world,

Adrift in the breeze like a feather.

A pilot while flying his plane,

Exclaimed "Am I going insane?"

For he saw with his eye, this thing in the sky, 

And radioed in to explain.

"So Captain, what's this about?

Settle down! There's no need to shout!"

"I know you'll be thinking, that I have been drinking,

Listen! There can be no doubt."

"A balloon two hundred feet high,

Above me way up in the sky,

Is scanning our nation, just like the space station,

And staring at us as we fly."

The White House was called in a hurry,

The Pentagon soon in a flurry,

"What the hell?" was the cry, as they did a fly by,

Then everyone started to worry.

Its payload is big as a Boeing,

Where is the bloody thing going?

Although unmanned, it's flight path seems planned,

So rumours were rampant and growing.

Republicans screamed "Shoot it down!"

"Are you nuts?" Biden said with a frown.

"It could kill masses wherever it crashes

Demolishing some little town!"

So when it had flown out to sea,

A jet chopped it down like a tree,

'Though China demanded it back when it landed,

The free world shouted with glee.

But then as quick as a wink,

With barely enough time to blink,

A new thing appeared, and this one was weird!

Could they be related you think?

The next day a third thing was seen,

Just what could this possibly mean?

With Biden annoyed, they both were destroyed,  

What secrets from them could we glean?

The Chinese wouldn't say squat.

Was it some sinister plot?

A devilish ploy, to simply annoy?

Red Herring to see what we've got?

I solved this one on my own.

It's not a spy craft or drone.

To me it's quite clear, so lend me your ear,

And put down that damned bloody phone!

When E.T came from the skies,

An alien sleuth in disguise,

It was a disgrace how we'd ruined this place.

He couldn't believe his own eyes.

His alien kin were quite pissed,

They came to see what they'd missed.

If we don't get back onto the right track,

Then Earth will no longer exist.

UFOs True or False

 Do ETs look like this little guy?

Most of us are familiar with the above image from Steven Spielberg's movie, ET. the Extra Terrestrial (creator of ET movie - Search (bing.com)). Was it based upon a Roswell secret crash or just a vivid imagination? Only Steven can say for sure. For my purpose it doesn't matter.

To me if you are one who has accepted the biblical theory of the creation of the universe (sorry, but it is a theory) then accepting that there are other forms of life in it is a no brainer. I have no doubt that there have to be other "humans" out there and other non-human species just as there are here on Earth.

As far as E.T. wanting to "go home" is concerned, who can blame him? I'd want to get off this planet as well, beautiful as it should be, if there were a safer place - where the grey matter of little grey beings is put to a better use than pure selfishness.

If you let yourself think outside of the box (the collection box for the ultra faithful) then interesting propositions evolve. If past visitors do look something like our little gender neutral character, does this support the theory of evolution?

On one hand it does if the visitors basically have two legs, feet, arms, hands with eight fingers and two thumbs, two eyes and one head. It would then seem that they evolved in a similar fashion to us. However one might ask wouldn't Natural Selection have created multiples of all of the previous items? Surely four or six eyes and perhaps four arms would be an advantage as would dark skin and lots of body hair. Apparently this was not the case with either of us so far. Will we have some of these millions of years into the future? That begs the question "What is future?" but that's another topic. For that we have to understand the concept of time. Good luck.

As I have said before, if there is a supreme deity, male or female, or another gender, and earth is like one grain of sand in the Sahara dessert, why would they have created only one set of living organisms on Earth alone?

Consider this: extra terrestrials and their craft must have been 'created' or evolved to be our superiors just to be able to make it here. We are decades if not centuries behind in our ability to travel into distant space - at least in our present form.

Google UFO and look at some of the results or watch a documentary on the topic. Netflix has one. UFOs have been seen all over the world. Governments including America's try to suppress this immediately. Have we learned new technology from them? The documentary suggests America might have allowed visitors to take specific human individuals away from Earth for research purposes. Was it a trade?

There are enough resources on this planet and there is enough wealth already created by them to feed and nourish everyone alive. A reasonable lifestyle could also be created by them. It is no infant's choice to whom they were born or under what conditions. They just need help - a lot of it. Very greedy people around the world including its political leaders seem to think this is not feasible.

Instead of helping and sharing, such individuals - and they are right here in the west as well - are willing to let the horrors of wars and famines take their toll. #Putin is only the latest.

"Why should I help others when nobody helped me?" Just trace your life from the time you were born. If you are capable of reading this and you have the means (that phone you are holding) there was plenty of help.

Our visitors are probably taking this message back home: "Earth is the most selfish planet we have ever visited." What will our punishment be whether divine or not?

Colonizing a new planet Part 2.

What System Should be Established?

Since Part 1 I have been considering this question. The truth is I can't come up with any workable system since they all involve one or more people having control or say over others. In the end people are greedy - they look out for themselves.

I did however think of a few poignant realities that go along with the notion of colonizing another world with humans and will share them here.

Here is one to remember. Just like landing on the moon, astronauts are very driven and intelligent people. They are also used to military chains of command. The number of trips needed to prepare for any type of living on another planet by ordinary people is huge. So the good news is that any established hierarchy of authority will already be in place.

It will have to be very authoritarian. In the new world vital elements of life like food, water, and oxygen will have to be protected as will any equipment for producing them. Red necks and anti-establishment types will have to be quickly dealt with and either eliminated (yes, capital punishment) or imprisoned. Prisons will be too expensive as will returning them to earth.

I see two possibilities unfolding.

The first was mentioned in Part 1. If getting there alone represented a cooperation between two or more nations, current politics will already have changed. I mentioned the international space station as an example. Space travel would have to be on a much more grand scale. Also mentioned in Part 1 in reference to the space station was that the astronauts themselves from many different countries do indeed get along. They have to in order to survive. So the international space station is a good mini model of what would be needed. Command rotates from nation to nation and all those involved have made contributions to its manufacture and its technology.

This brings up another thought. After spending trillions on getting to this new place, war and destruction between the cooperating nations here on Earth would make no sense. The effort would all go to waste. Perhaps that is a Eureka moment! We should be viewing space travel not as a race but as one of the few things that can force cooperation between the world powers. If space becomes the only place to perpetuate humans, mutual destruction on Earth must never happen.

The second possibility is that a single nation like China wanted to go it alone and has the technology. This would be bad. To do so they would have to accomplish world domination in order to utilize all of Earth's dwindling resources, currently used by everyone. That would require drastic measures. Some people already see deliberate pandemics as one approach. This might force cooperation among others like USA and Russia, to prevent such horrific selfish activity.

Here are a couple more parting considerations:

- Another black eye for those who still believe every word of their holy books. Expense would not permit a "Noah's Arc" space shot with all other species onboard. I cringe just thinking about other problems this would create. Most species will therefore become extinct. Farms for livestock will only exist in Earth's history books.

- Just like today, only the very rich will be able to make the trip. Sound familiar? The rest will probably perish here on earth.

- Here is a positive. If another form of life beats us in this race, why would they possibly want to take over Earth in its current state? They would pay one visit and move on. Maybe THAT is what has already happened.

One final thought which I have expressed before: whatever the body or structure that evolves, women will have to play an active or even dominant role. Men have screwed up and destroyed all successful societies in history or they are currently in the process of doing so.

Colonizing a new planet Part 1.

Mars? The Moon? Beyond?

If some day we have to colonize another place from our first touchdown - a true ground zero - what type of system would prevail?

In previous posts I have suggested that perhaps the lousy systems we have today, which are getting worse as time passes, were all a result of an experiment by some superior ETs. We were the lab rats. So what would my fellow rodents do elsewhere?

A better approach might be what should we avoid? History tells us that almost all previous civilizations eventually prevailed through the basic "might is right" approach. The strong and ruthless prevailed and the weak perished. This is the case in the animal kingdom, to the point of consuming the weaker. We seem to be on that track again. There is not much cannibalism - yet - but it has existed in the past.

Perhaps this question is why the TV series "Survivor" was so popular (just learned on Wikipedia that this show originated in Sweden where the show was called "Expedition Robinson" - who knew?). I always thought that the show was going to be about true surviving where the winner and natural leader would be the one who could build shelter, find food etc. for the others. Instead it is about how being devious and backstabbing wins out in the end.

Without script or production crew, death would be a very real possibility when colonizing a new place. It would be more like that crash of the aircraft in 1972 in the Andes mountains carrying a Rugby team with relatives and family. Only the strong survived and cannibalism was a big factor. It makes the TV show look like a Hollywood movie. The answer will probably be dictated by who lands there first. If it is the Chinese their system would likely prevail; Russians or Americans the same.

The interesting possibility will be if a cooperative effort between countries is needed. This would be like the international space station. In this case it appears that the individuals themselves can get along and cooperate. Back here on earth, their leaders can not.

So if it becomes possible to maintain life on another planet and some of us want or need to go there forever, then which system will prevail? It seems clear to me that we would not want to repeat our troubled ways here on Earth.

In Part 2 let's try to be more specific. I don't have much hope. Just look at The European Union; NATO; United Nations; United States; Soviet Union; United Kingdom, British Commonwealth, or former British Empire. Some are now gone or exist in name only and others are starting to crack.

Hmmmm? Look how many involved the Brits! Maybe they should not be a part of any new leadership union.

UFOs etc.

We are not alone

In my last post I wrote about the possible existence of other forms of life from elsewhere in the universe. It seemed to be popular.

UFOs and DJT

UFOs will always be newsworthy. Trump not so much.

Now that I have your attention, what is the connection between The Donald and ET and his mates? Not much. The only ones I can think of are news and headlines. Trump's will come and go if they have not already. UFOs have always generated excitement on the front page and always will.

Both involve theories, rumors, cover ups, and probably lies. Supposedly Roswell involved a UFO crash but nobody is certain. Trump crashed for the entire world to see. Both involve denials.

I don't know about these small objects allegedly of great speed in the news lately. It seems to me that anything from another place in the universe would have to be larger both to get here and return, and to carry other creatures, whatever their form.

I believe it is simple. Earth is like a single grain of sand in the miles of Daytona or the Sahara desert compared to all heavenly bodies out there. We can't even grasp the numbers. Wikipedia names a centillion as 10 to the 303rd power (600th power in some systems). I have no concept of that nor does anyone else. It is a bunch of zeros on a page.

Given this however, why on earth (pun intended) would anyone believe we on our miniscule grain of sand are alone? Look at the sky tonight. You are seeing light from stars that has been travelling (at the speed of light - another earthly concept) for millions of years. Just try to absorb that for a moment. If creatures ever do arrive and introduce themselves, they could be millions of years or more old. That alone requires a vastly different life form.

Religious theories of the origin of humans are just that - theories - answers for humans, thousands of years ago to a question everyone pondered but were afraid or too uneducated to ask. The answer was created by humans, written by the few clever men (never women - not permitted), and then preached to the ignorant and forced upon them under threat of death or torture. Those who require a black and white explanation for everything still believe it.

If a virus so small humans can't see it with the naked eye, with no brain as we know it can bring human kind to its knees, what else is out there that can do the same thing? We are limited by our human perceptions, which among others, have trouble understanding time as another dimension. It IS a dimension - remember the stars mentioned above. Are there other dimensions?

So these blips of light apparently only reported by Navy pilots could be anything. I doubt they are extraterrestrial but could very well be a technology developed by another country who - perish the thought - is miles ahead of the USA.

In the meantime they make great news and should not be feared. Trump and his puppets whose brains are sometimes also questionable, are scary indeed.

Are we being punished by COVID-19?

“Beam me up Scotty - Stat! ET wants to come home."

I wrote "Beam Me Up" in Feb. 2018. The idea was that ET like characters were sent to earth to report back on a grand experiment by alien forces called - Earth. This might be offensive to those who believe in the religious doctrines about the creation of human kind,  normally referenced as "The creation of MAN" which in itself shows a gender bias, common in religion.

I have often thought how absolutely nonsensical we earthlings would appear to an alien – any alien. If this were a scheduled follow up visit for them, they would surely be shaking their heads in dismay.

I could fill this space entirely with references to our southern neighbour's new administration and all that goes with it. However heads are already shaking around the globe over that. Enough said. To be fair, I could do that for a lot of countries and their governments.

Imagine some of the reports back to UFO H.Q. wherever that is. Consider the following a conversation … a report card from a team of ETs about Earth.

We are reporting this in one of their many languages. Our hope that they would develop and use a unilanguage failed. Sadly this is one of many disappointments we have to report.

They have really messed up that religion thing we counted on for their guidance. We left them some latitude but My God – oops, sorry. They got the “Different Gods for Different People - Just Choose One” concept but have used it to torture and butcher each other for centuries. Centuries that’s a miniscule unit of earth time. My bad. Oops again - "My bad" is modern Earthling for acknowledging an error or mistake. It was not part of the language we left them.

It appears that we might have to utilize the Devil in Hell option soon - very soon. Sadly we don’t think many have earned enough merit points to be returning with us in the near future. Even many of their self-appointed religious leaders need to spend some time down under with The Horned One for their own good. What’s that? Yes we’ll get right on it.

Imagine this! None of them think that YOU could be a female. As expected, the men pretty well dominate this place and yes, the men have totally screwed it up - another earthly expression. They have an obsession with sex and sexual expressions.

As you will recall, we chose this planet because of its abundant resources for everyone. Soon they will run out. Their water and air will be totally poisoned and undrinkable by their own doing. Their land will be unfit to live on and the wildlife is already heading towards extinction. Go figure! Damn these colloquialisms! Just testing you. I don’t know where they got that one.

Remember when we used to argue among our sexes before we agreed there were eleven? We gave them only two which they are trying to expand to six or seven. They even kill each other over it. It’s a really big topic here. What’s that? No Way you say? Repeat please. OK, I get it – now you’re pulling my leg. "Way." I forgot you know their languages better than I do.

Here is a very strange habit. Again under the guise of religion, the males and females and now some of the expanded sexes undergo this formal union called marriage. They swear before one of their “Gods” and colleagues that they will forever be true to one another sexually and then they perform any sex act they desire with every other person they can. They just have not yet grasped truth, trust, commitment, and loyalty. Even their leaders are guilty. We think perhaps sexual pleasure was a mistake. We should undo it.

You know how we compete one-on-one or many-on-many in physical activities that require a fit body, strength, endurance, and skill? We do it for fun. Here it is a career, and often you don’t even have to go to school. The players are called "athletes" and they receive incentives which are often worth hundreds of times more than those who do educate themselves for years. Really! They have also totally abused the rudimentary chemistry we bestowed upon them and have developed performance enhancing substances to gain an unfair advantage while competing. They actually think such victories are valid.

They have made good progress on basic use of electronics and now communicate around their planet with it. Unfortunately rather than use it for spreading truth and good, here it is used to entertain and too often to spread lies, evil thoughts, and for personal control over less fortunate people and all they have worked to accomplish.

Now to the equal sharing of power, leadership and wealth between the sexes. Indeed they went through many of the phases we did but it appears that we learned and they did not. Remember when we last did a study on this here?

We found that there had been several examples of very competent leaders of countries here who were female. They were tough when they had to be and defended their charges against others - usually male counterparts - but only when necessary. Some of the names I recall were Thatcher; Meir; Bhutto; Gandhi; Gillard; Merkel and several Queens. In contrast many of the most horrific eras in their history were attributable to males.

I fear that a rude awakening is needed for this civilization. Fear of annihilation by fire and rain has been ineffective. They are just not getting it the way we thought they would. We have to come up with a way to save the good - there are many of these, but destroy the selfish and wicked - there are too many of those.

There are people here with shelters large and luxurious enough to house a small city and they keep it all for their own small family. The water in their pools could keep a city from dying of thirst. They have become certifiably insane over the rudimentary form of transportation we outlined several visits ago - their cars. They hold competitions to race them. The wasted fuel consumed at these events alone could once again heat a city or plough enough fields to feed thousands. Instead it is totally wasted. These vehicles are getting even bigger.

Thankfully they are learning that use of these fuels is killing them. Progress is being made on electricity and power from their local star. It might be time to give them a small hint as to how we travelled here - for their own sake.

Upon our return we suggest a full conference of our most wise to discuss their fate. Should it be a nudge in the right direction or total destruction of the worst among them? If the latter, there will be much carnage. They even have a term for that. They call it collateral damage.

Space and the Cosmos - The Great Equalizer

COSMOS: the world or universe regarded as an orderly, harmonious system

The above is a real definition. Having just viewed a recent video of a live broadcast between the space station and Queens University featuring Dr. Drew Feustel, it represents a tragic irony.

What I saw and heard was a magnificent example of astronauts from the United States, Canada, Russia and many other nations all working together in perfect harmony in that fascinating unknown - the Cosmos (or Space). What I heard was awe inspiring.

Yet here on this tiny spec we call Earth in that Cosmos, those same nations or their leaders can't get along and even scheme to destroy each other. Both Russia and the USA have cooperated to shuttle each others scientists to and from that station. Surely there is a lesson here. If they can be colleagues up there, why can't their political leaders at least get along down here?

Such thoughts inspired the following:

With mortal sight we do behold
This awe inspiring vision.
Mysteries of our sky unfold
Immaculate precision. 

A home away from home we share.
Depending on each other.
When we return how will we fare?
Will I still call you brother?

We share this vast celestial sight.
It casts on us a spell.
We fear our heads of state just might
Change Earth to living hell.

As we observe these planets far
In this communal space,
Are we being judged from distant star?
Have we used up our grace?

If our great leaders would agree
To take a turn up here,
As one team they soon would see
That trust surpasses fear.

There will come a time when we
Will have to conquer space.
Cooperation will be key
To live beyond this place.

UFOs Yes or No?

Are there ETs out there and have they visited?

This topic is guaranteed to get a discussion going almost anywhere so why not here?

For my part I fully believe in aliens and visits to earth would not surprise me at all. How's that for an opening?

Regarding their existence, to me this is the same debate as its cousin about the creation of humans and Earth itself. Most people either believe in a theory based on physics or one based on religion. Unfortunately some of those in the religious camp are probably angry already because for the most fervent of them you can't even question this. I disagree as I do with most things about religion. Neither of the theories has actually been proven, so I go with my gut and what makes common sense to me.

When I hear estimates of the numbers of stars and other objects that exist in the universe, my eyes gloss over. I can't even appreciate numbers that large. They are like the number of grains of sand in the Sahara Desert, Myrtle Beach, or the floor of the ocean. It is difficult for most people to get a feeling for such quantities.

Permit me to assume that people on both sides of this divide would agree that there are vast numbers of "heavenly" bodies out there. The exact number doesn't really matter. What does matter is the analogy that Earth probably represents only one of those single grains of sand in any of those places mentioned above.

So if a Supreme Being or deity - male, female, or something else we can't even comprehend, created Earth and us then why stop at one? Anyone or any thing with such capabilities surely would conduct more than one such experiment.

On the other hand if a natural and more physical formation took place then I can't possibly accept that whatever happened to form earth and all of its inhabitants did not happen elsewhere or at least something very, very close to it.

So:

Religious Theory? There must be many more supreme creations out there. Maybe there are even millions of deities as well all doing similar things. That would make us mere laboratory rats in a heavenly contest. The belief that there is only one all powerful God in the universe only exists because some men wrote some books. They just happened to be the only ones at the time who knew how. They could have written anything they desired and for any number of reasons - selfish or not.

Physics and Natural Selection Theories? Same argument. If a Big Bang created our galaxy and everything in it there are likely huge numbers of other galaxies out there.

Here is an often overlooked point. Both of these theories are based upon the published personal thoughts of a relatively few male scholars - women were not taken seriously at one time or even permitted higher education. The masses really didn't have the means of launching counter-arguments. Even in the time of Darwin in the 1800's higher education was probably the preserve of men. Copernicus in the 1400's envisaged our first notions of earth travelling around the sun. Not many could challenge him. Imagine many centuries before that how someone teaching from their own writings could convince the less educated..

People believed what they had been told and that most often came from written theories or at least powerful orators. Look what happened in more modern times at Jonestown. A single man lead many people to their own death.

Now for visitation. Based once again on sheer numbers surely there are creatures out there more advanced than we are. That is difficult for many earthlings to accept. You can find on the internet alleged witnesses to the little man at Roswell. I believe something did indeed happen.

Perhaps there are logical reasons why there have been so few visits. We face the same challenges in space travel. Firstly the ability to travel such great distances is a huge problem. How are the craft powered? Secondly, those on board have to stay alive with basic food and water. The odds of aliens visiting our little grain of sand out of all of the others are small.

I leave you with this. Do you believe in time machines like the ones you have seen in movies? Why not? Walk outside tonight and look at the stars. Your earthly perception called vision is taking in events that happened many millions of years ago. That last part involves our sense of time and people like Einstein thought we have a very limited understanding of it. But there they are - those stars are captured in your brain now but what you are seeing happened a very long time ago. If you could possibly see an image of people on that star which was formed 200 million years ago, they will never be able to see your image by the time your images reach them 200 million years from now. In our terms that would be 400 million years into their future!

I have often thought how absolutely nonsensical we earthlings would appear to an alien – any alien. Even if this were a scheduled follow up visit for them, they would surely be shaking their heads in dismay.

I could fill this space entirely with references to our southern neighbour's new administration and all that goes with it. However heads are already shaking around the globe over that. Enough said. To be fair, I could do that for a lot of countries and their governments.

Imagine some of the reports back to UFO H.Q. wherever that is. Consider the following a conversation … without the quotation marks.

We are reporting this in one of their many languages. Our hope that they would develop and use a unilanguage failed. Sadly this is one of many disappointments we have to report.

They have really messed up that religion thing we counted on for their guidance. We left them some latitude but My God – oops, sorry. They got the “Different Gods for Different People - Just Choose One” concept but have used it to torture and butcher each other for centuries. Centuries that’s a miniscule unit of earth time. My bad. Oops again - my bad is modern earthling for acknowledging an error or mistake. It was not part of the language we left them.

It appears that we might have to utilize the Devil in Hell option soon - very soon. Sadly we don’t think many have earned enough merit points to be returning with us in the near future. Even many of their self-appointed religious leaders need to spend some time down under with The Horned One for their own good. What’s that? Yes we’ll get right on it.

Imagine this! None of them think that YOU could be a female. As expected, the men pretty well dominate this place and yes, the men have totally screwed it up - another earthly expression. They have an obsession with sex and sexual expressions.

As you recall, we chose this planet because of its abundant resources for everyone. Soon they will run out. Their water will be totally poisoned by their own doing and undrinkable. Their air will soon be killing them. Their land will be unfit to live on and the wildlife is already heading towards extinction. Go figure! Damn these colloquialisms! Just testing you. I don’t know where they got that one.

Remember when we used to argue among our sexes before we agreed there were eleven? We gave them only two which they are trying to expand to six or seven. They even kill each other over it. It’s a really big topic here. What’s that? No Way you say? Repeat please. OK I get it – now you’re pulling my leg. Way. I forgot you know their languages better than I do.

Here is a very strange habit. Again under the guise of religion, the males and females and now some of the expanded sexes undergo this formal union called marriage. They swear before one of their “Gods” and colleagues that they will forever be true to one another sexually and then they perform any sex act they desire with every other person they can. They just have not yet grasped truth, trust, commitment, and loyalty. Even their leaders are guilty. We think perhaps sexual pleasure was a mistake. We should undo it.

You know how we compete one-on-one or many-on-many in physical activities that require a strong fit body, strength, endurance, and skill? We do it for fun. Here it is a career, and often you don’t even have to go to school. The players are called athletes and they receive incentives which are often worth hundreds of times more than those who do educate themselves for years. Really! They have also totally abused the rudimentary chemistry we bestowed upon them and have developed performance enhancing substances to gain an unfair advantage while competing. They actually think such victories are valid.

They have made good progress on basic use of electronics and now communicate around their planet with it. Unfortunately rather than use it for spreading truth and good, here it is used to entertain and too often to spread lies, evil thoughts, and for personal control over less fortunate people and all they have worked to accomplish.

Now to the equal sharing of power, leadership and wealth between the sexes. Indeed they went through many of the phases we did but it appears that we learned and they have not. Remember when we last did a study on this here?

We found that there had been several examples of very competent leaders of countries here who were female. They were tough when they had to be and defended their charges against others - usually male counterparts - but only when necessary. Some of the names I recall were Thatcher; Meir; Bhutto; Gandhi; Gillard; Merkel and several Queens. What’s that? You should know better than to joke about Queens here. In contrast many of the most horrific eras in their history were attributable to males.

I fear that a rude awakening is needed for this civilization. Fear of annihilation by fire and rain has been ineffective. They are just not getting it the way we thought they would. We have to come up with a way to save the good - there are many of them, but destroy the selfish and wicked - there are too many of those.

There are people here with shelters large and luxurious enough to house a small city and they keep it all for their own small family. The water in their pools could keep a city from dying from thirst. They have become certifiably insane over the rudimentary form of transportation we relayed several visits ago - their cars. They hold competitions to race them. The wasted fuel consumed at these events alone could once again heat a city or plough enough fields to feed thousands. Instead it is totally wasted. These vehicles are getting even bigger.

Thankfully they are learning that use of these fuels is killing them. Progress is being made on electricity and power from their local star. It might be time to give them a small hint as to how we got here - for their own sake.

Upon our return we suggest a full conference of our most wise to discuss their fate. Should it be a nudge in the right direction or total destruction of the worst among them? If the latter, there will be much carnage. They even have a term for that. They call it collateral damage.
